You can now search the EPO Boards of Appeal from the search field.  A help menu has been also been added for the EPO Boards of Appeal search.

You can now perform a quick search from the search bar using the Patent Lens search engine.

Patent Circle has been added to the Blog menu.  Patent Circle covers patent updates from India and across the globe. 

A new search engine has been added to the search drop down menu.  SparkIP provides a search which clusters together related technologies based on your search.  This cluster map provides a visual display of how these technologies are related and then allows you to look deeper and see the patents in each group.

I added a link to a service called Citation Bridge.  It provides a convenient interface for finding patents which your patent cites and patents which cite your patent.  It is a free service but does require the user to login.

Links to the Esp@cenet Advanced search and WIPO structured search have been added to the Foreign menu.  Thanks to Walter Hart for the suggestion.

Croatia became a member of the EPC on 1 January 2008.  Consequently, Croatia has been moved to the EPC member state menu.  Thanks to David Galaun for the update.

The links under the United Kingdom sub0menu have been updated.  Also, new links have been added to the Statutory Instruments and Ukpatents.  Thanks to David Pearce for the tip.

Patent Scrounger has been added to the US tools menu.  This search engine displays the first drawing in the search results page.  Thanks to Nir Lifshitz at Baylis Medical for the suggestion.

 

Visual TM search has also been added to the US tools menu.  This search engine allows you to upload an image file of a trademark and search based on the image.
