I recently came across a little tool called the Aspator.  It is a plugin for firefox prepared by the Hong Kong based firm, Astri.  The plugin makes using the USPTO search engine a lot more effective.  On the search results page, the Aspator presents the user with a series of options which can be applied to all search results or individually.  These options include showing the abstract, 1st claim, drawings, etc.  There is a sample screenshot on the download page.  You can use the link in the Patent Pal or click below:
