The Cholecystokinin B receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate CCKBR. When a ligand binds to the CCKBR, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker CCKBR cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with CCK Octapeptide sulfated. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring CCKBR receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
