Blood DNA Isolation Kit

This Blood DNA Isolation Mini Kit is designed for the rapid extraction of genomic DNA from up to 200 µL of whole blood. The purification process utilizes spin column chromatography, where the column selectively binds DNA under optimized salt conditions and releases it under low salt and slightly alkaline conditions. The resulting genomic DNA is fully digestible with all tested restriction enzymes and is compatible with a wide range of downstream applications, including PCR, real-time PCR, Long-Range PCR, RFLP analysis for paternity testing, and Southern blotting.

The kit allows for the isolation of genomic DNA from the blood of various species, including humans, with preferential purification of DNA over other cellular proteins. Typical DNA yields will vary depending on the cell density of the blood sample. Preparation time for a single sample is under 30 minutes, and each kit provides sufficient reagents for 50 or 100 extractions.
