FFPE DNA Purification Kit

This FFPE DNA Purification Kit offers a rapid method for isolating and purifying genomic DNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. Formalin fixation causes crosslinking between nucleic acids and proteins, and embedding can lead to nucleic acid fragmentation over time. This kit provides conditions that partially reverse formalin-induced modifications, resulting in high-quality, high-yield DNA.

The purification process isolates DNA from other cellular components without using phenol or chloroform. The resulting genomic DNA maintains high integrity and is compatible with a wide range of downstream applications, including qPCR, mutation screening, microarray analyses, sequencing, Southern blotting, and SNP analysis.
